This is the best tent camping spot in Oklahoma. Beautiful views, diverse scenery, and lots to do. There are fishing spots ,a lake for boats, kayak rentals, hiking trails, and I'm sure more! I would recommend this place for sure, and if you need something, sulphur has a few stores to buy from.
Great hiking on smooth even trails good for every ability level. Spectacular swimming! Either in the reservoir or in the rivers. The history of the springs and the national park (which this originally was) is interesting as well. You can find info on placards around the park or the nature center. It's fun to see the springs 'springing' from the ground.
This is perhaps our favorite place in all of Oklahoma! The trails are varied, scenic, and usually deserted. It's always a beautiful place to enjoy a relaxing getaway, and it is truly a paradise with so much to do. We have been going for two years now and it and have always enjoyed it. We usually stay at The Point campground and navigate around the area there, but are hoping to be more adventurous during our next trip. 10/10, there's no better place to be.
This is a really beautiful park with well maintained campgrounds and trails. The trails go through forests, past streams, and around springs, so there's a great deal of diversity in the scenery. we will be back!
This is one of the beautiful national parks in the States with a number of different natural beauties to enjoy. There are many trails and other activities like swimming and fishing around natural and very clean springs, see various animals, plants and museums. Seeing all the Scenes may take several days hiking, but one can drive close to almost many of the major ones as there are parking spots everywhere. The information center gives visitor all the necessary information and tools (map) and that is helpful.
