What an amazing weekend. Joe, Carol and the team were just such gracious hosts. My massage with Jason was excellent. Will definitely be coming back!
This is a fantastic place to stay. Service and staff are top notch. Many staff play multiple roles at the resort, so you get a more personal atmosphere, and everyone is friendly and accommodating. There's definitely a country feel to the property, but there's plenty of luxury as well. Meals are generously portioned, and perfectly prepared. You can get dressed up for dinner, or feel free to take a more casual approach. Overall they so a great job of making you feel relaxed, comfortable, and happy. I'd recommend Echo Canyon for anniversaries, weddings, or just as a great place to stay and relax while you're checking out the surrounding wilderness. I would recommend bringing cash for tips. Everything is billed to the room, so having cash will make it easier to give thanks to staff that go above and beyond.
My hubby and I spent a weekend away at this beautiful hidden treasure. The food was excellent, massage was great, cabin was beautiful and hidden away, but most of all, the service was perfect. We never had to wait for anything, they were extremely attentive and very accommodating. It is a great get away with privacy for romance and the staff make you feel very comfortable. The owner served us at the bar and even stayed open late to have a glass of wine with us and visit. We are returning in the fall and I can't wait!

Echo canyon is by far the most beautiful resort anywhere. The owners and staff are accommodating and friendly and the food?? Oh my gosh it is beyond compare. Joe and Carol are both chefs and the food is beyond what you would expect in the middle of Oklahoma. The peace and quiet will calm your rattled nerves and the beds are so comfy!! Treat yourself to this jewel in Sulphur Oklahoma just south of the only National Forest in Oklahoma, you will not be sorry! If you leave the table after dinner or breakfast here hungry... it's your own fault!! You will want to, and should, eat every morsel!!
